Cuisinart needed to improve the deliverability rate of their marketing emails. Mail blocks, bounces, and a blacklisted IP address had combined for the perfect storm. The mission: Get Cuisinart emails in more – many more – inboxes.
Whereoware developed a comprehensive email deliverability strategy to ensure customers could count on Cuisinart emails arriving in their inboxes - as much as they count on Cuisinart products in their kitchens.
Whereoware’s approach was three-fold:
- Audit the present state of Cuisinart’s email strategy
- Improve database health and domain reputation
- Maintain data and deliverability health through stringent processes
Whereoware migrated Cuisinart to marketing automation platform Acoustic Campaign, creating a fresh start with a new, dedicated IP address. They rebuilt Cuisinart’s master email template to boost speed and efficiency, while delivering a better user experience.
Using the Acoustic toolkit, the Whereoware team moved quickly to:
- Develop a new database structure
- Implement a double opt-in confirmation
- Cleanse data to identify spam traps, inactive subscribers, etc.
- Optimize copy and email design
Whereoware then began “warming” the new IP address, sending to Cuisinart’s most engaged contacts—a proven strategy to show internet service providers that Cuisinart’s emails were authentic and trustworthy.
Today, Whereoware continues to assist Cuisinart in maintaining the health of their data, nurturing the email deliverability rate, monitoring key metrics, and rigorously testing at each stage of the process.
