Whereoware is proud to have senior industry experts guiding our clients to maximize the right technologies and strategies to achieve their goals. We’re recognizing our Client Partner (CP) leaders and sharing their thoughtful insight.
In this edition of Meet the CPs, we’re chatting with Thomas Trevisan.
What do you do for Whereoware? What makes your role valuable?
As a Client Partner at Whereoware, at a high level I write and manage scopes, support our clients to reach their business goals, objectives, and key results. I help iron out challenges/roadblocks in billing and workflow.
My value lies in my humanistic approach to business relationships. As part of my daily tasks, I brainstorm ways to work together in a client-centric manner. Meaning, that I analyze every action, every work product, every process to make sure they’re growing more relevant, more empathetic, more supportive, more efficient, and more consultative.
This method results in a “people first” relationship for our partners. That’s why I landed at WOW – the leadership team here gets the value of a humanistic approach to business and supports me in my efforts.
What is it that you enjoy most as a Client Partner?
At Whereoware, I get the opportunity to both learn from and inspire others. Curiosity and creativity – people don’t always think of these qualities in a business leader.
Any customer facing role, even a good data scientist worth their salt, is curious and creative when it comes to finding solutions and solving problems.
Tell us about your most rewarding client experience?
Anytime a client/client partner relationship moves out of the transactional “I need this” mentality - and into “I genuinely want to see this person succeed” relationship. The experience is very rewarding.
How do you deal with client challenges?
I want to get away from this idea that challenges, conflicts, and disagreements are overly dramatic, and are impossible obstacles to overcome.
I find these trials as opportunities for growth and improvement. The key is communication. My goal is to encourage communication between myself and those I interact with to create a professional environment that nurtures folks to share what’s on their mind. As Mr. Rodgers said, “If it’s mentionable, it’s manageable.”
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I love to cook. I love the stories behind food, how different cultures have different cooking styles.
I was taught to cook by my grandmother from eastern Europe. So, things like offal and lard aren’t rarities in my fridge.
