Eric Dean

As co-founder of Whereoware, Eric Dean has served as the company’s President and Managing Partner since its inception in 1999. With 20 years of sales, marketing, management and ownership experience, Eric plays the role of the company's top market strategist. Over the last 10 years, he has focused on delivering successful online business development for Whereoware and its customers. With a deep understanding of today's business challenges, Eric guides the vision and direction of Whereoware, leading initiatives in mobile marketing, marketing automation and e-commerce development.

Prior to Whereoware, Eric was the founder and majority owner of Mosaic Design Works, a 25-person home decor manufacturer and wholesaler. His four-year experience as Mosaic’s leader provided the insights needed to marry today’s technology with the real-world challenges of managing and growing a small business. He also worked with Burlington Industries in a variety of sales and marketing roles, serving as both a Business Manager and Export Manager for one of their largest business units.

Eric has an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and a B.A. in History from the College of William and Mary. He served as a U. S. Army officer for four years between college and graduate school.

Bill Haskitt

Bill joined Whereoware in 2003 as a partner. He heads up Whereoware’s online marketing team, which focuses on marketing automation, search engine optimization, pay-per-click, and behavior-based marketing. In addition to an extensive expertise in e-commerce, Bill is a CRM and sales automation veteran, which is invaluable when integrating customers’ CRM with marketing automation.

Prior to Whereoware, Bill was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for BIAP Systems, a transaction marketing company in the online technology industry. Bill's first-hand experience with new web-based technology initiatives has served as the basis for many of the products and technologies Whereoware offers to improve the buying and selling experience.

Before BIAP, Bill worked for Reed-Elsevier and Bell Atlantic in the online and digital catalog marketplace. In that capacity, he introduced two digital catalog products which were later trademarked. He served in numerous senior management roles as he developed, marketed and sold digital catalogs.

Bill holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan with a dual major in Math and Psychology. He spends his free time playing tennis and occasionally competing in national bridge tournaments.

Jim Rothey

As the Chief Technology Officer, Jim Rothey oversees Whereoware’s product development for Spotlight, Create Express, Create, Flip and Blink. Jim has over 20 years of experience specializing in online businesses and product development. An evangelist for online technologies, he managed and fielded commercial e-commerce websites as early as 1995. Jim leverages this experience in defining Whereoware's overall technology strategy.

Prior to joining Whereoware, Jim served as Director of Engineering for eMotion. He also ran a development team at SRA International, creating software that resulted in two software patents. This led to the successful creation of Picture Network International, a company later acquired by Kodak. Jim went on to serve as Director of Engineering and Product Manager for Picture Network International, where he was responsible for building online media management ASPs and software products. He is listed as an inventor for four software patents.

Jim received a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science from the Pennsylvania State University.

Joe Harris

Joe Harris joined the Whereoware team in 2004, and has since taken on many different roles, including sales, project management, and general business consulting. Currently, he heads up Whereoware’s web development and design team providing customers with custom development solutions, mobile development, and e-commerce websites. With over eight years of experience working in web and multimedia development, he brings a unique understanding of technology, design and implementation to Whereoware.

Prior to Whereoware, Joe was a Founder and Vice President at SmartPants Media, a multimedia and software design firm specializing in the creation of interactive software, websites and kiosks for marketing and educational purposes. He worked directly with a wide assortment of clients including non-profit organizations, small and medium- sized businesses, and federal and state governments.

Joe has a B.A. in History from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Teya Flick

Teya Tuccio-Flick joined the Whereoware team in 2008 as a marketing manager, developing marketing programs for several clients. She has developed and implemented a wide scope of online marketing tactics, including behavior-triggered email, lead generation and sales support programs, pay-per-click marketing, search engine optimization, and social media marketing. She now oversees Whereoware’s marketing efforts as Marketing Director.

Prior to joining Whereoware, Teya worked as a product manager at AOL, where she spent time developing an innovative mail product, My eAddress. She wrote product specifications, created external communications, and developed viral marketing promotions.

Teya has an M.B.A from the University of Maryland, College Park and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
